If you think the PU materials you are currently using a not ECO enough, even the recycled PU (as all we known the recycled PU are basically still oil base PU, it just change the backing fabric to recycled polyester), then our new develop recycled water base PU could be a better option for you.
We have them in 95% less water usage during the production, and almost ZERO chemicals use from the beginning. The backing, we use recycled polyester as backing fabrics.
In the end, it turns out the cleanest PU composition we ever had in our materials selection.
Since 2018, we switched our polyurethanes to water-borne and solvent-free polyurethanes. As well as being less energy and water intensive, they are made without solvents and therefore much safer for people to work with.Pollution problems do not exist during production process of water borne polyurethanes, there is no combination of solvents and organic compounds. Its synthetic agent is water, while emissions in the air are water vapors. The product does not contain organic solvents, non-DMFA, non-APEO, no organotin compounds and phthalate free.
So, the comparison in the production process between water base PU and normal PU, How much water is used for normal PU vs. water based PU? How much chemicals are used for normal PU vs. water based PU?
