Leather & Leather Alternative
We have implemented our own traceability system, from raw to finished leather. All the flows of traced leather & leather alternative that we use are certified by external audits. We benefit from exclusive traceability with each of our suppliers.
Over the years, Autron work closely with our suppliers to understand each participant in the value chain and control potential risks in terms of environmental protection and social benefits. Each year, together with our suppliers, we select and designate the raw factory to be used. We also conduct physical and digital traceability of the material production process to monitor the quantity and origin of the material at all stages of conversion, which now covers 90% of the leather & leather alternative supply. The remaining 10% follow a pre-planned and complete process without any human rights or environmental risks.
Cotton
One hundred per cent of the cotton we use are certified by BCI certification. We only source them from a limited number of suppliers, and these have remained the same for many years. These trusted partners guarantee that all sources comply with the BCI certification, the international system which ensures that the purchase of raw cotton is not associated with any conflict zones.
Polyester and Nylon
Since the end of 2021, Autron recycled Polyester & Nylon has achieved 99% traceability. Autron's sources are divided into three categories: recycled polyester and nylon (90% of the total supply); blending recycled polyester and nylon (8%), conventional polyester and nylon (2%).
The recycled polyester and nylon we use are comply with OEKO-TEX Standard 100 standard and Global Recycled Standard. Each batch of goods will be release with raw yarn and finished product transaction certificates (TC), specifically corresponding to external partners; In addition, Autron's internal management team and the supplier management team will also involved to ensure supply chain transparency.
Natural Fibers
We follow the principles of our internal fiber standard guidance to ensure the responsible souring of natural fibers such as hemp, cotton, raffia, linen.
Metal
Autron use an alloy for our hardware for which our exclusive suppliers use waste from industry in their manufacturing process. This waste makes up the iron part of the alloy and represents 60% of the casting volume on average. At the meanwhile, we also verifies with suppliers the origin of raw metal to ensures is not associated with any conflict zones.
